Qualifying for Nursing Home Medicaid can be challenging due to the 5-year (60 months) lookback period. This means that any gifts or uncompensated asset transfers made within the last five years prior to your application may impact your eligibility. But the law provides many exceptions that (if applicable) we can use to your advantage. Our team navigates these complexities and guides you every step of the way to to qualify you for and to obtain Nursing Home Medicaid benefits.
If you are not eligible for Medicare or cannot afford private health insurance, Medicaid may be an option for you. Our experienced team guides you through the process of securing Medicaid health insurance.
Medicaid counts most of your income тo determine if you qualify for Medicaid, including Social Security income, pension income, rental income, IRA distributions, and more. If your income (as a single or a married couple) exceeds Medicaid’s income limits, know that you may still qualify for Medicaid.
